ISLAMABAD: Pakistan delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Turkmenistan 3-0 to secure their place in the quarter-finals of the Junior Davis Cup underway in Kuching (Malaysia),
Abubakar beat Geldiyev Aly 6-3, 6-4 to put Pakistan 1-0 up with Mikaeel Ali Baig making it 2-0 outplaying Chagylov Selim 6-1, 6-1. In the doubles, Hamza Roman and Abubakar Talha gave Pakistan a clean sweep, overpowering Chagylov Selim and Rustamov Emirhan with a convincing 6-1, 6-1 triumph. With this victory, Pakistan advances to the quarter-finals, where they will face Bangladesh onThursday.
