Five girl students injured as gun goes off accidentally
MINGORA: Five girl students of a government-run primary school sustained injuries when gun of a watchman went off accidentally in the Madyan area of Swat district on Thursday, official sources said.
They said that girl students of the Government Primary School in Madyan were busy in their study when the gun of the school’s watchman, Rahimullah, accidentally went off. As a result, five girl students sustained injuries.
The injured, including Shabnam Bibi, Neelam Bibi, Arina Bibi, Madina Bibi and Safia Bibi were shifted to a hospital in Madyan from where they were shifted to the Saidu Sharif Hospital.
The hospital sources said that the condition of injured students was out of danger. The police took the watchman into custody who was later released after the children’s parents forgave him.
