KARACHI: Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) has announced a temporary shutdown of its plant for maintenance purposes, scheduled from February 15 to February 20.
According to an official notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday, the maintenance work is essential for ensuring the refinery’s long-term operational efficiency. The timing of the shutdown coincides with a period of lower demand for petroleum products, allowing PRL to prepare for uninterrupted operations during the upcoming harvesting season. The refinery, located in Karachi, remains committed to maintaining sustainable operations while minimising disruptions to the supply chain.
