PGF conducts four-day Golf Coaching Programme
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) successfully conducted a four-day Train the Trainers Programme from 11-15 February 2025, featuring an esteemed R&A-recommended coach who traveled to Pakistan to mentor and train local golf coaches.
The program received an overwhelming response, with 94 coaches applying, out of which 61 actively participated in the seminar. The training covered advanced coaching techniques, course management, and player development, followed by five quizzes designed to assess coaching proficiency.
The overall success rate was 67% of participants qualified for Level B, C, or D certification.
The closing ceremony was graced by Lt. Gen. Qazi Muhammad Ikram Ahmad and Mr. Kim Walter Raymond Baldwin, serving as the Guests of Honour. The event was successfully organized under the leadership of PGF.
The initiative is part of PGF’s long-term vision to improve the quality of golf coaching nationwide.
