KARACHI: The Islamabad High Court has restored the notification issued on November 30, 2024, reinstating the office bearers of the National Council of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan).

As per the decision, Ghulam Mustafa Qazi, FCMA will continue as president, alongside Muhammad Yasin, FCMA as vice president, Azeem Hussain Siddiqui, FCMA as honorary secretary, and Abdul Qayyum, FCMA as honorary treasurer.

Qazi, a seasoned management consultant and advocate for the profession, has been instrumental in elevating the status of Chartered and Management Accountants (CMAs) globally. His representation of ICMA Pakistan on international platforms, including IFAC, CAPA, and SAFA, has strengthened the institute’s global standing.

Yasin brings extensive leadership experience, having previously served as chairperson of the Lahore Branch Council and honorary treasurer of ICMA Pakistan. Siddiqui, known for his mentorship and strategic contributions, has played a pivotal role in the institute’s development, while Qayyum, currently CFO of the Diamer Bhasha Dam project, adds financial governance expertise to the team.

Rana Intzar Hussain, FCMA, based in the UAE, has been appointed chairperson of the Global Linkages Committee, tasked with strengthening ICMA Pakistan’s international collaborations.
