The State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) is set to conduct an ambitious national diabetes health check drive and awareness campaign on Saturday (today) between 9am to 1pm.
Offering free diabetes health checks, expert consultations, and essential resources on prevention, nutrition, and disease management, this initiative marks a significant step in addressing one of the nation’s most pressing health challenges.
In collaboration with over 370 hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab, the SLIC’s free diabetes health check drive is the largest public health initiative of its kind, targeting diabetes — a silent epidemic affecting more than 30 per cent of the population. Beyond diagnosis, the campaign empowers individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to adopt a preventive and proactive approach to their health.
The event stands out not only for its scale but also for the quality of care provided to those who need it most, demonstrating the ability of healthcare professionals, partnering with the SLIC, to meet the needs of the population while working towards the best advantage of vulnerable communities.
Anyone desirous to become a beneficiary of the health check drive could visit StateLife.com.pk for the full list of participating hospitals and to find the nearest free diabetes health check facility. The SLIC is the largest life and health insurer in the country’s public sector and stands as a pillar of reliability and excellence.
