ISLAMABAD: Pakistan won medals on the opening day of the basic Garde-I Poomsae category at the Combaxx 7th Asian Taekwondo Open underway here at the Liaquat Gymnasium.
Local athletes excelled in the technical discipline of taekwondo, bagging 8 gold, 7 silver, and 9 bronze medals across various individual and pair categories, setting the tone for an action-packed tournament.
