Faisal Nisar made USC MD

ISLAMABAD: Several federal officers, including MD Utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan (USCP), have been transferred. Secretary Board of Investment (BoI) Rahim Hayat Qureshi has been removed from his post and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Services of MD USC Muhammad Ali Amir have been returned to the Punjab government. Faisal Nisar Chaudhry, DG Secretariat Training Institute, has been appointed MD USC. Faisal was nominated by the board of Utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan.

Adil Akbar Khan, Grade-21 officer, has been appointed Senior Joint Secretary Water Resources Division, Niloofar Hafeez as Joint Secretary Planning Division and OSD Kashif Gulzar as Joint Secretary Commerce Division. Kamran Ahmed, Joint Secretary Industries and Production Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Joint Secretary States and Frontier Regions Division Azra Jamali has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary Industries and Production Division.

Haseeb Shahbaz Amin, Section Officer Finance Division, and Section Officer Muhammad Mutasim Billah have been transferred from Narcotics Control Division to National Food Security Division. Section Officer Parliamentary Affairs Division Zeeshan Raza Zaidi has been directed to report to the Establishment Division, while transfer orders of Section Officer Aamir Shafiq from Parliamentary Affairs to National Food Security Division have been cancelled.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Law and Justice has appointed Raja Naeem Akbar as Senior Technical Advisor in SPS-1. The appointment is on contract for a period of two years, effective from February 12, 2025.
