Robber held in injured condition

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Sadar police arrested a robber in injured condition after an encounter on Vador Road on Thursday.

The police were taking an arrested suspect to recover a stolen motorcycle when three criminals on two motorcycles ambushed the police party and opened fire, which was retaliated. During the exchange of gunshots, one of the suspect suffered injuries and held by the police while others managed to escape. The accused was identified as Muhammad Waseem alias Wasa. The police said that the outlaw was involved in multiple cases of theft and robbery. Authorities have launched an operation to apprehend the fleeing suspects.

TWO ROBBED OF CASH: Robbers snatched more than Rs 1.5 million from two employees of a distribution company near Jalal Town on Thursday. Yasir and Shahid were going to a bank to deposit cash when two motorcyclists intercepted them and snatched it from them.
