Two held over robbery at Fakhar-e-Alam’s house
Police have arrested two suspects for their alleged involvement in a robbery at renowned Pakistani actor, singer and TV host Fakhar-e-Alam’s house in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority neighbourhood.
According to the Darakhshan police, the case was registered on the complaint of the staff officer of Fakhar-e-Alam’s father. The complainant accused the bungalow’s security guard Chaudhry Muhammad Latif and former employee Ziauddin, along with other accomplices, for committing the robbery.
The items stolen from the bungalow included an Omega watch, diamond earrings, diamond cufflinks, Rs350,000, 35,000 UAE dirhams, and several unstitched men’s and women’s suits. According to the police, the two suspects named in the case have been arrested, but they have not yet admitted to committing the crime. Further investigation is under way.
