Alleged terrorist arrested, explosives seized

PESHAWAR: The Counter-Terrorism Department thwarted a major terror bid and
recovered two suicide jackets and explosives from an alleged terrorist in Shabqadar, officials said on Tuesday.They said an action was carried out in Shabqadar during which one suspect was rounded up and two suicide jackets, 10 kilograms of explosives, six batteries, two hand-grenades, as many Kalashnikovs and ammunition were recovered from him.The police said the arrested man was taken to an unknown place for interrogation while raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices.
