Six SHOs suspended on different charges
MULTAN: The City police have taken stern action against police officials on multiple charges, including ill-performance in averting an LPG tanker explosion, torturing senior citizens and committing negligence in performing assigned tasks within their respective police station jurisdictions.
The CPO closed five SHOs to the Police Lines on the charge of ill-performance. The SHOs include Qadirpur Ran SHO Ramzan Gul, Muzaffarabad SHO Ali Yazdani, New Multan SHO Ahmed Nawaz, former New Multan SHO Shafiq Ahmed, Kotwali police SHO Sajjad Hussein, and Delhi Gate police SHO. The Muzaffarabad police station SHO is suspended for showing ill-performance in curbing illegal refilling from LPG tankers, which caused the death of ten people and injured more than thirty.
