Police claimed to have killed two suspected robbers in the Manghopir area on Thursday. The encounter took place near Garam Chashma area where the robbers were looting a citizen, namely Al-Haq. Police said a police patrol team responded promptly, and the suspects attempted to flee while firing at the officers. The police also opened fire in retaliation, leaving two armed suspects dead. Police also claimed to have recovered two pistols, snatched mobile phones, wallets, and cash from their possession. A motorcycle of the suspects was also seized. The identities of the killed suspects were being verified. The bodies have been moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
