Police say Rs35.6m recovered, 2 suspects held

PESHAWAR: Police have arrested two suspects for looting Rs 35.6 million from a money exchange dealer.The accused were identified as Nadir Khan and Ahmed Gul, belonging to Lala Kilay and Akbarpura.
Nadir was the security guard of the money exchange dealer at Deans Centre in Saddar.The police said Haris Nadeem Siddiqi lodged the first information report at the West Cantt Police Station of the crime.
A special team was constituted under to work out the case happened on January 4.SSP Investigation Noor Jamal and SP Cantt Aitizaz Arif told the media police investigated the case and that led to the arrest of the accused. The officials said total of Rs 35.6 million were recovered from the arrested suspects.
