Instead of focusing on providing relief to the ordinary people, the government is entangled in cutting Imran Khan and the PTI down to size. Suppressing a deep rooted political party that enjoys great popular support is never a good omen.
In the foregoing circumstances, the government is required to convene an all parties conference (APC) to resolve the current political crises. One should not forget that the economic stability of the country is directly linked to political stability.
