PESHAWAR: Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) Central Executive Committee Chairman Saadullah Khan Marwat Advocate on Friday called for replacing the current leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf with dedicated people to ensure the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.
In a statement, he expressed concerns over the lack of decision-making ability and political foresight within the current PTI leadership. “Considering the current situation, it is imperative to replace the leadership to make sure that right decisions are made in a bid to secure the release of Imran Khan,” he said.
Marwat said that the ILF was taking practical steps for Imran Khan’s release. He called for merit-based appointments in the Advocate General’s Office. He criticized the race among lawyers for the position of legal advisor in provincial departments and said it was a disappointing trend that undermined the party’s core values.“Many of the leaders in PTI are driven by personal interests rather than the welfare of the party,” he believed.
