Sukkur IBA University assistant controller found dead in his house
Incident occurred apparently due to gas leak and further investigation is underway, says SHO
SUKKUR: The body of Sukkur IBA University Assistant Controller Ishtiaq Memon was found in his house in New Sukkur Society on Sunday, while his two sisters -- Faiza and Aliza -- were shifted to an area hospital in an unconscious condition.
Abad Police Station House Officer (SHO) said the incident occurred apparently due to a gas leak, and further investigation was underway.
Tariq Memon, a cousin of the deceased, said Ishtiaq was residing with his two sister.
On Saturday night, Ishtiaq, in a phone call, said he was not feeling well. However, he added, after that they found his phone not responding.
Later on, when they reached the house and entered by breaking open the main gate, they found him dead in a bed and his sisters in unconscious condition.
