Establishment Division issues SRO with regulations after the approval of Prime Minister
ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister has approved two amendments to the CSS Professional Groups and Services (Probation, Training and Seniority) Rules, 1990.
The Sub-Rule 7 of Rule 3 has been amended to make the MBA tax management program mandatory for probation officers of the Inland Revenue Service and Pakistan Customs Service. It will be applicable from the 51st Common Training Program (CTP). Apart from this, they will be discharged from the service on failure in the third attempt in the final pass-out program examination under Sub-Rule 2C of Rule 6. If a probationer is unable to pass the FPO examination in the first attempt due to the death of parents, spouse or siblings, their seniority shall be determined on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the first and second attempts.
