25,409 POs arrested in 11 months

LAHORE:Investigation police have released their performance report for the first 11 months of 2024. According to the report, 3,345 suspects from 1,475 criminal gangs were apprehended and 25,409 proclaimed offenders were arrested. The accused in 730 attempted murder cases, 8,022 robbery cases, 5,650 kidnapping cases, and 323 murder cases were taken into custody, 12 cases of robbery and murder were traced and 1,204 cases of rape were brought to satisfactory conclusions. Justice was delivered in 1,510 cases handled by 48 Change Investigation First Boards and 4,372 cases resulted in various punishments for offenders. Out of 83 individuals involved in the killing of citizens, 29 were sentenced to death and 54 were given life imprisonment.
