Aortic valve replaced without heart surgery

LAHORE : Two patients successfully underwent non-surgical heart valve replacement procedures at Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC), Lahore.
These procedures were performed by Professor Ahmed Noman and Professor Aamir Hussain Bandesha under the leadership of Consultant Dr Ali Raza.
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement is a procedure in which a defective aortic valve is replaced without open heart surgery.
