Whenever we come to know about any positive movement in the stock market of our beloved country, with the PSX recently crossing the 100,000 points milestone, we feel proud that our economy is going in the right direction. But when we notice that most of our industrialists and businessmen are moving to other countries with their liquid assets, leaving behind unproductive idle assets, these positive indicators look a lot less impressive.
In my opinion, the mafias in our markets are so strong that they can manipulate market trends and fetch huge profits for themselves. Sadly, things are not so simple for ordinary people.
