JUIF finalises plan for December 8 moot
PESHAWAR: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIF) has finalised all arrangements for the anti-Israel conference which is scheduled to take place on December 8 at Ring Road.Talking to reporters, JUI’s provincial information secretary Abdul Jalil Jan said that all arrangements have been completed for the conference.
“About 5,000 volunteers will provide security to the participants. The volunteers from Ansar-ul-Islam, the party’s security wing, have been mobilized,” he added.To ensure maximum participation from across the province, he said, the members of the provincial executive committee, under the leadership of Senator Maulana Attaur Rehman and Maulana Attaul Haq Darwaish, recently completed visits to Malakand, Hazara, southern, and central districts.
The conference will commence at 11am and will be addressed by JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, provincial leaders from Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as central officials from Wafaqul Madaris.JUI’s spokesperson further said that the officials concerned had approached for NOC and other necessary formalities two weeks in advance.
