LAHORE: The Punjab Boxing Association along side Lahore Boxing Association has chalked out a comprehensive plan to conduct club, city, tehsil, district and provincial level tournaments and find talented players to represent the province.
An emergency meeting was held between the Punjab Boxing Association and the Lahore Division Boxing Association under the direction of PBA President Abid Boxer. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the future boxing competitions and the upcoming referee judges’ coaching course seminar scheduled for next week.
They also assigned one of the members to prepare a year long schedule of events from club to provincial level and also asked the affiliated units of Punjab to also prepare similar events schedule to tap fresh boxing talent which would represent the province and later the country in the coming days.
