Man killed, dozen others wounded in road accident
A man was killed and around a dozen others were wounded in a road tragedy near Dua Hotel on the Northern Bypass on Thursday.
Following the accident, police and rescuers arrived at the scene and transported the casualties to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased, who appeared to be around 55 years old, had not yet been identified. The injured individuals included Ramzan, 48, son of Sharif; eight-year-old Farhan, son of Ghulam Qadir; Ghulam Qadir, 40, son of Behral Khan; Abdul Qadir, 42, son of Fateh; Hammad, 22, son of Ali Akbar; Dilawar, 25, son of Akhtar; Abdul Wahab, 34, son of Jan; Abid Ali, 35, son of Bashir; Dilshad, 22, son of Qasim; Sonu, 21, son of Yasin; Gul Hasan, 65, son of Ismail; and Sarfaraz, 17, son of Aftab. The police stated that the accident occurred as a result of a collision between two vehicles, and further investigations were underway.
