Dengue has become a recurring visitor to Pakistan, claiming many lives every year. Regrettably, the authorities concerned have mostly failed to combat this disease effectively. They do take some measures but only in a reactive rather than proactive manner.
If the health authorities would take all preemptive steps at the embryonic stage of this threat, they would be able to save a large number of lives.
