LAHORE : The Hindu community across Pakistan celebrated the religious festival of Diwali with great fervor. A central event organised by the Evacuee Trust Property Board took place at the Krishna Temple on Ravi Road, attracting participants from various regions of the country.

Men and women of the Hindu community lit oil lamps in accordance with religious traditions. Special prayers were held for peace and security in the homeland. Tight security measures were implemented around the Krishna Temple to ensure the safety of attendees. Among the notable attendees were Soheil Raza, a member of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Deputy Secretary Amjad Altaf Awan, Assistant Security Officer Asim Chaudhry, PRO Ghulam Mohiuddin, Hindu leader Arun Kumar, and members of the Muslim Unity, as well as prominent figures from Sikh and Christian communities. Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Syed Ata ur Rehman, congratulated the Hindu community on Diwali, stating that minorities and their places of worship in Pakistan are now safer than before ever, and that minorities have a distinct identity within the country.
