Science and Technology ministry says panel for appointment of DG PNAC will soon be sent to federal cabinet
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Science and Technology has completed the process of interviewing candidates for the post of Director General, Grade 21, of Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC),
The selection committee was headed by Federal Minister for Science and Technology Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
According to sources, the selection committee included Federal Secretary Science and Technology Sajid Baloch, Chairman PCSIR Dr Syed Hussain Abidi and officials of the Establishment Division. About a dozen candidates appeared for the interview before the selection committee.
Interviews of the candidates continued for about three hours.
According to officials of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the panel consisting of the top three candidates for the appointment of Director General PNAC will soon be sent to the federal cabinet through the Establishment Division for approval.
