Pakistan to compete in Asian Futsal Cup qualifiers

KARACHI: Pakistan women’s futsal team is set to make history as they participate in the Asian Futsal Cup qualifiers for the first time in January 2024.
The Asian Futsal Federation has announced the draw for the qualifiers, placing Pakistan and India in Group B alongside Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Kyrgyzstan. The matches will be hosted in Indonesia.
Pakistan will kick off their campaign against Hong Kong on January 11, followed by games against Kyrgyzstan on January 13 and Indonesia on January 17. A highly anticipated match against India is scheduled for January 19. The top two teams from each of the four groups, along with the best-performing third-placed team, will advance to the Asian Cup, which will take place in China in May 2024.
