Hubco’s Mega Motor Company to sell BYD vehicles in Pakistan

KARACHI: Mega Motor Company (Pvt) Limited will manufacture and sell BYD brand passenger vehicles in Pakistan.
Hub Power Company Ltd (Hubco) informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday that Mega Motor Company, an associated company of Hubco, has entered into a master supply and manufacture agreement with BYD Auto Industry Company Limited to manufacture, market, distribute and sell BYD brand passenger vehicles in Pakistan and technical licence agreements for the licenced products.
“BYD’s leading technology coupled with our local expertise will catapult Pakistan’s automotive sector into the future offering customers variety and choice from the world’s leading automotive technology company,” read the statement.
