World Animals Day observed

LAHORE: The Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) observed World Animal Day with the theme of ‘The World is Their Home Too’ here in City Campus on Friday.
An awareness walk was arranged to mark the day in order to create awareness among the public about the protection and conservation of animal lives, humane handling of animals in feeding, treatment and also misuse (fight) for entertainment purposes.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus led the walk a number of students from different societies/clubs and faculty members participated.
The walk started from the Vice-Chancellor Office and took a round of City Campus. Similar activities were also arranged at other campuses of the UVAS.
