Attackers fled after retaliatory fire from the DC’s security guards

QUETTA: Unidentified armed individuals opened fire on the vehicle of Deputy Commissioner Sherani in Qila Saifullah district of Balochistan.
The attackers fled after retaliatory fire from the DC’s security guards. No casualties were reported.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Qila Saifullah, on Thursday, 50 kilometers from Qila Saifullah at a place called Tang Gwal Haiderzai, unknown attackers fired at the convoy of DC Sherani, Sana Mahjabeen. Multiple bullets hit one of the vehicles in the convoy, but the attackers fled after the guards returned fire.
After the incident, Sana Mahjabeen safely reached Zhob, and security forces have cordoned off the area to search for the attackers.
