Officers promoted
Lahore:The Punjab government has promoted 10 officers from Grade 18 to Grade 19, while promotion of five officers was withheld due to various objections. The promoted officers include Naila Tayyab, Tariq Khan, and Muhammad Nawaz. Muhammad Aslam, Ata ul Haq, Muin Ahmed, Maysam Abbas, Muhammad Arshad, Safiullah, and Muhammad Hanif were also among the promoted. On the recommendations of the Provincial Promotion Board One, the Chief Minister of Punjab approved the promotion of several officers to Grade 19. The promotion cases of Asad Abbas, Agha Zaheer, Naveed Alam, Ghazanfar Ali Abbas and Ehsan ul Haq were deferred on fitness issues. Their cases will be re-nominated for promotion after a one-year period of supervision. The S&GAD (Services and General Administration Department) has issued a notification.
