Khyber Chamber elects office-bearers
LANDIKOTAL: Muhammad Yousaf Afridi was elected unopposed as President of the Khyber Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A press release said that Wajid Ali Shinwari was elected as senior vice president and Iqbal Shinwari as vice president of the chamber.
The election was held under the supervision of Barrister Hashim Raza. Faisal Nasir Advocate and Naqash Ali were members of the election committee.
A member of the local business community, Syed Jawad Hussain Kazmi, congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and expressed confidence that they would work to boost trade activities. He emphasised the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving economic development in the region.
He hoped the new leadership would focus on creating business opportunities and addressing challenges faced by local industrialists.
