Police say two held for assaulting student
MANSEHRA: Police claimed to have arrested two of three suspects who had allegedly assaulted a ninth-grade student and blackmailed him after making his explicit video clips in the Shinkiari area here.
“We have arrested two suspects who had allegedly assaulted a student and threatened him with circulating his explicit video clips on social media if he didn’t meet their unjust demands in the future,” Anas Khan, the station house officer (SHO) Shinkiari police told reporters on Friday.
The father of the survivor had lodged the first information report (FIR) with the police stating that three people had taken his son away to a deserted place, assaulted him and made video clips of the act. “Suspects threatened my son with uploading video on social media if he didn’t meet their financial and other demands,” the police quoted the father of the survivor as saying in the FIR.
