Two major business associations join SBA
PESHAWAR: The Import-Export and Medical Equipment associations on Wednesday announced support to Sarhad Business Alliance which is challenging the Businessman Forum in the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry election slated for September 25.
The two major associations announced support for the SBA at a special ceremony. The first to join the SBA was the Import-Export Group, followed by the Medical Equipment Association. Representatives of the both associations announced the support during a ceremony.
Mazhar Hussain, Mumtaz Khan, Atif, and Fayyaz Hussain, along with 35 voters of the SCCI, announced support for the SBA.From the Medical Equipment Association, 15-member office-bearers including Patron-in-Chief Aitzhar, Chairman Rashid Minhas, Senior Vice-President Khurram Shehzad, Naeemur Rehman, Tahir Khan, Vice-Presidents Amjad Ali and Faisal Anwar, Information Secretary Syed Rasool, Vice President Atif Maqsood, General Secretary Syed Azhar Mehmood, Khawaja Nasir Akhtar, Naeem Jan, along with 75 voters of the SCCI, joined the SBA in the presence of former SBA Patron-in Chief Ghulam Ali, Malik Meher Ilahi, and former district nazim Muhammad Umar, assuring their full cooperation.
In their speeches at the ceremony, Rashid Minhas, Muhammad Fayyaz, Mumtaz Khan, Atif, Mazhar Ali, and other speakers expressed happiness at becoming part of the SBA.“The Patron-in Chief of the SBA Ghulam Ali was elated at the support and said it was the SBA manifesto and practical actions which continued to attract the business community.” I am sure the SBP candidates will win the SCCI election,” said Ghulam Ali who is a former governor of KP.
