Pemra to auction Pak DTH in Ramazan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has decided to start process of auctioning licence of Direct to Home (DTH) in the month of Ramazan.
The Pakistani DTH will start broadcasting channels of media from December 2016 and as a result of this, the illegal Indian DTH will be closed down.
A special committee will carry out transparent auction which will comprise NAB, FIA, media and other sensitive institutions. With the auction of this licence, the series of flowing of foreign exchange of billions of rupees of Pakistani nation will stop from going to powerful people, who run the business of Indian DTH, and in Indian kitty.
