LAHORE : A wide range of benefits will be extended to talented youth and athletes of the province under recently launched Chief Minister Internship Programme and Sports Endowment Fund. It won’t be wrong if we say that the CM Internship Programme is a blessing for the talented youngsters. DG Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said this in a statement.
It is pertinent to mention that Punjab Minister for Youth Affairs Faisal Khokhar along with Provincial Health Minister Kh Imran Nazir and Minister of Local Govt Zeeshan Rafiq had inaugurated Rsone billion CM Internship Programme and Rstwo billion Sports Endowment Fund at a ceremony at CM Secretariat at 90 Shara-e-Quaid-e-Azam.
DG Youth Affairs Punjab said that Punjab Youth Affairs Department is engaging and facilitating talented youth as per vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “These initiatives will play a key role for providing suitable jobs to talented youth and sports development across the province”.
Highlighting the key features of CM Internship Programme, Pervez Iqbal said that under the CM Internship Programme, a monthly stipend of Rs25,000 to be given to 6,000 unemployed youth aged 18-25.
“This opportunity offers hands-on experience, skill development and a pathway to a brighter future. “This programme has been launched by Punjab government to equip the unemployed youth of the province with productive skills to upgrade career prospects”.
