Complaint against Surayya Bibi dismissed

PESHAWAR: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected the application of a citizen against the deputy speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Surayya Bibi.
A citizen, Suhail, had submitted the application in the ECP, Islamabad against the deputy speaker of the KP Assembly. On Wednesday, the ECP held a hearing into the application but the complainant did not appear before the election watchdog. It prompted the members of the ECP to dismiss the complaint. Known lawyer Mohibullah Terichvi appeared on behalf of the KP Assembly deputy speaker.
