1.071m Iesco customers to get relief in bills
Islamabad:Domestic customers having load up to 5kw and monthly electricity consumption between 201 to 500 units during the month of August and September 2024 will be eligible for the relief of Rs14 per unit, announced by the Punjab Government, says a press release.
Dr. Tahir Masood, chairman Board of Directors of Iesco said that relief announced by the Punjab government, Iesco teams have started distribution of bills in accordance with the relief package to the customers and 1.071 million Iesco customers will get relief for the billing month of August 2024.
He said that if the customers eligible for relief have deposited their full bills, the extra paid amount by them will be credited in the September bill and to ease customers the due date of bills have also been extended.
Moreover following the instructions given by the authorities domestic TOD meters, lock premises, net metering, defective meters or customers involvement in power theft are not eligible for this relief.
