NCHD trains seminary teachers
Islamabad: The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) successfully conducted a training workshop under the Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP) Middle-Tec initiative.
The workshop, aimed at enhancing the teaching skills of trainers from seminaries, saw the participation of 47 dedicated individuals from various religious institutions across the country.
The training session was inaugurated by the director of Education at NCHD, who emphasised the importance of modern educational techniques in traditional learning environments.
The Director highlighted the role of such initiatives in bridging the educational gap and providing quality education to students in seminaries.
JICA representatives also played a pivotal role in the workshop, sharing their expertise and insights on effective teaching methodologies.
The training covered a wide range of topics, including modern pedagogical techniques, curriculum development, and the integration of technology in education.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities designed to equip them with the necessary skills to implement the ALP curriculum effectively.
This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education in seminaries, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for future challenges.
The collaboration between NCHD and JICA continues to pave the way for educational reforms and capacity building in religious educational institutions.
