I-Day event at YMCA

LAHORE:People of Hindu, Sikh and Christian communities gathered at YMCA to celebrate Independence Day celebrations on Tuesday.
Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Ramesh Singh Aurora was guest of honour at the function arranged to celebrate the I-Day. Rev Zaman Sultan, John William, Ghulam Nabi Rana and Rao Dilshad Hussain, Muhammad Zaman and Saira Jehan also graced the event. Emanuel Sarfraz briefed the guests on the role YMCA play in the freedom struggle. “The decision to vote in favour of Pakistan was taken in the YMCA Hall in a meeting presided by Speaker Punjab Assembly SP Singha and General Secretary YMCA Rallia Ram,” Emanuel said. Aurora said youth of Pakistan are very positive.
