LAHORE : Secretary of the Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums Punjab Farid Ajmad Tarar, accompanied by the Director Lahore Museum Nabila Irfan and other officials, inaugurated a special photo exhibition at the Lahore Museum in celebration of Independence Day on Saturday.
The secretary of tourism and the director also celebrated the occasion with a cake-cutting ceremony with special guests on wheelchairs.
The exhibition featured over thirty photographs and will remain open until August 14. It showcases historical images of Pakistan's founding fathers and their companions, aimed at highlighting the struggle for Pakistan's independence and celebrating the spirit of freedom.
The secretary commended the holding of the exhibition, noting that it is a fitting tribute to Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal, and others involved in the freedom movement. He emphasised the importance of educating the younger generation about the struggle for independence and its key figures.
