RAWALPINDI: Two teams from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigated the former PTI chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Adiala jail on Tuesday.
According to jail sources, on Tuesday, a NAB team led by Assistant Director Umar Wasim arrived at Adiala jail to investigate the new reference against Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana case. Later, NAB Deputy Director Mohsin Haroon, along with his colleagues, also joined the investigations.
The NAB teams stayed in the Adiala jail for approximately six hours. After interrogating the couple, they departed from the central jail at 5:20 pm. The former prime minister and former First Lady are currently in jail under a 10-day physical remand issued by NAB. They are scheduled to be presented in court on August 8, when the remand period concludes.
