Section officer suspended over poor traffic management
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar on Monday suspended a section officer (SO) of the Karachi traffic police for poor traffic management.
Officials said Lanjar suspended the section officer the Frere Traffic Section for poor traffic management. He said that wherever double parking was seen or if a complaint was received in this regard, the traffic section officers would face suspension.
"If traffic management or traffic flow is affected, responsibility will be imposed on the relevant section officer," he said and added that any irregularity or double parking in parking areas would not be tolerated in any way. The section officers should come to the traffic field and ensure the flow of traffic under their supervision, and strict steps should be taken against illegally charged parking mafias, he said.
