Ahsan stuns top seed in Creek Open

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz stunned top seed Shahjahan Khan to reach the quarterfinals in Creek Open in the United States on Thursday.
After defeating wildcard Hao Cui from the US in the first round, Ahsan smashed top seed Shahjahan Khan from the US 11-8, 11-3, 11-7 in 25 minutes in the second round. Third seed Ashab Irfan and top seed Asim Khan got byes in the first round and they will face unseeded Nicolas Serna from Colombia and unseeded Salim Khan from the US, respectively, in the second round.
