MARDAN: The president of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Mardan district, Asad Khan, has said he would woo back the estranged workers and organize the party at the village council level.
“Efforts are being made for the purpose,” he said while talking to journalists from Shergarh at his residence at the Hathian House. He said the workers were an asset and they would be respected and the party would be organized with their suggestions. “The PPP has won the hearts of the poor by starting the Benazir Income Support Programme from which millions of people are benefiting,” said Asad Khan while promising that more such measures would be taken if the party got any opportunity.
