Six illegal arms-holders held
Rawalpindi: Police have arrested six illegal arm holders and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession during crackdown here on Monday.
According to the police spokesman, Taxila police held two illegal arm holders Khurrum, Mustafa and recovered two pistol 30 bore ammunition from their possession. Similarly, Wah Cantt police nabbed Tauseef and recovered one pistol 30 bore from his custody and one pistol 30 bore was recovered from Idris.
While, Dhamyal police apprehended Amir and recovered one rifle 12 bore from his possession. Following operation, Kahuta police recovered one pistol 30 bore from Shah Roz Jabbar. Police have registered separate cases against the accused and started further investigation. Divisional SPs commended police teams adding that strict action will be continued against those carrying illegal weapons.
