Imran’s release not possible: Vawda
It was a shameful case, for it is a disgrace to bring personal life into politics
ISLAMABAD: Former senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Vawda Saturday claimed the release of founder of PTI will not be possible, no matter how much one goes outside the Constitution and the law to give concessions.
In his reaction to the verdict in the Iddat case, he maintained that things do not end easily in Pakistan, therefore, he didn’t foresee release of the party founder chairman.
The independent senator even claimed that PTI’s problems have increased after Friday’s decision (Supreme Court verdict in reserved case), it was a shameful case, for it is a disgrace to bring personal life into politics. However, he contended that the yesterday’s decision came ‘above the constitution and law’.
Vawda said that PTI’s problems increased after this decision: they were eating sweets and even today they are happy that the founder of PTI will come out. “There are also all stages and cases still left,” he emphasised.
