LANDIKOTAL: At least seven persons were injured when two rival groups exchanged fire over a land dispute in Khyber Walikhel village in Landikotal, sources said on Wednesday.
The said that Salim Afridi and his opponent Mehran Shah had a dispute over a piece of land. They said the incident happened after both parties exchanged harsh words over the construction of a pedestrian pathway over the disputed land. The injured persons were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in Landikotal wherefrom one of them was referred to a hospital in Peshawar due to his serious condition.
