Justice Jahangiri hears PTI’s election pleas today
Strict security arrangements have been directed on the occasion of the hearing in the Islamabad High Court (IHC)
ISLAMABAD: Election Tribunal judge Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri will hear PTI candidatesâ€(tm) petitions against alleged rigging in three constituencies of federal capital on Monday (today).
Three PTI candidates Aamir Mughal, Ali Bukhari and Shoaib Shaheen have approached the Election Tribunal against the alleged rigging. Strict security arrangements have been directed on the occasion of the hearing in the Islamabad High Court (IHC). According to a circular issued by IHC, only persons with special passes and 25 lawyers, including petitioners, will be allowed to enter the courtroom. One law officer each from the office of Attorney General and Advocate General and 30 reporters will be allowed into the courtroom. Islamabad administration and IG Islamabad have been directed to ensure administrative and security arrangements.
